Handmade furniture in Bristol & Bath
I design and make bespoke fitted and free standing furniture for homes across Bristol, Bath, Somerset and the South West. I create pieces made from real wood, both traditional and contemporary, designed and built to last more than one lifetime.
My background in cabinetry is based around making one off beautiful pieces using hard woods or slow grown softwoods and this is where my passion is. I hand select all my timber and more often than not it is locally sourced directly from the person who has felled the tree and done the milling.
I also take on fitted furniture commissions and carry through the same ethos and values into the design and construction. Combining real wood with high quality panel materials such as birch plywood can produce excellent, high quality pieces made sustainable by their longevity and quality.
The examples below are just a highlight of a few of the many pieces of furniture I have built over the years. Every piece is bespoke so if you don't see what you like just get in touch and we can discuss your vision. I can work to designs or from a mood board of styles to create something that still carries my influences as a furniture maker as well as your own.
If you have a traditional home and are looking for things that are in keeping with the period of the home or to conserve and restore existing panelling or furniture then please get in touch and we can discuss the best approach to this. I have a lot of experience with using English quarter sawn oak for listed buildings to make and restore traditional panelling and built in cabinetry.
