I design and make timber framed structures for homes, businesses and public settings in Bristol and the surrounding areas from my north Somerset based workshop at Chelvey. Every timber frame is custom made for you and your space and requirements. Below you can get some inspiration from past projects and ideas for how you can use an outdoor space or extension. If you are looking for a complete garden room I can also do the full fit out, interior furniture making and joinery elements for it too.

Oak frame building has to be one of the most special and beloved crafts in the UK. Thousands of years of geometry, architecture, engineering, understanding of structure, timber, forestry and trees are rolled up in this incredible craft. We have learnt from generations of craftspeople through mistakes and ingenious learning and understanding. When we create traditional oak framed buildings we are standing on the shoulders of giants.
I try to honour this craft in the best way I can by building true to these methods that have been passed down and by continuing to develop my skills from some of the most incredible leading craftspeople in the UK through my involvement with the Carpenters Fellowship.
